![]() ![]() So far, I've only found one answer (outside virtual machines) that may or may not work, and it involves a third-party application that no one seems to consider a violation of any EULA. ![]() I believe Microsoft left the option open for producers to bypass user level commands like this specifically to cope with their own program's shortcomings. This despite finding many articles on other operating systems, such as Linux and Mac, can force winmode with simple command line parameters or keystrokes in the same games, like Diablo and Alpha Centauri. After a bit of research, I've found that many software houses refuse (or are unable to find a way) to allow certain programs to be used in windowed mode with Windows.
